Juanita Jones

Mrs. Juanita Jones, age 77 of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was an antique dealer for many years and a member of The Ripley Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Jones was born on February 8, 1931 in Bath Co., Kentucky the daughter of the late Elgin and Mary Ellen (Vanlandingham) Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Archie Lee Jones and one sister, Ruby Marcum.

Mrs. Jones is survived by one daughter, Alice Lightner of Aberdeen, Ohio; two grandchildren - Shan Lightner and wife Jen and Renee Lightner, all of Aberdeen; two brothers - Virgil Thompson of Lexington, Kentucky and Clayton Thompson of Laurel, Indiana; a special friend, Gwen Dawley of Ripley, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Clark Castle will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
