Juanita Sparrow

Juanita Sparrow, age 83 of Mt. Orab, Ohio passed away Monday, August 24, 2026 at her residence. She was born May 2, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Clois Darst and Helen Idell (Carson) Anderson. On February 22, 1964, Juanita married William Sparrow. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and enduring partnership, sharing 58 wonderful years of marriage until William's passing in 2022. Juanita was also preceded in death by her beloved parents. Her professional life was characterized by a strong work ethic and an unwavering dedication to service. During her career, Juanita was employed in customer service and data entry roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield and North American Refractories, where she made a meaningful impact through her attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Juanita was known for her simple pleasures and gentle humor. She enjoyed watching her favorite television show, “Everybody Loves Raymond,” and delighted in traveling, especially to the Smokey Mountains, where she found peace and happiness surrounded by natural beauty. Juanita spent many hours with a good book in hand, but perhaps her greatest joy came from gathering with loved ones, whether at home or eating out, sharing stories, laughter, and love. Juanita will be remembered as a woman of quiet strength, boundless love, and enduring grace—a guiding light whose warmth will live on through all those whose lives she touched.

Mrs. Sparrow is survived by two children - Mark Sparrow and wife Tracy of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Beth Cook and husband Charles of Mt. Orab, Ohio; four grandchildren – Sarah Boone and husband Blake of Winchester, Ohio, Curtis Sparrow and wife Alainna of Nashville, Tennessee, Andrew Cook of Los Angeles, California and Nicholas Sparrow of Cincinnati, Ohio; four great grandchildren – Ava, Olivia and Liam Boone all of Winchester, Ohio and Oliver William Sparrow of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister – Marlene Fearing of Batavia, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Joe Strunk will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
