Judith “Judy” Kathleen Cook, age 65 of Ripley, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Georgetown, Ohio. She was born September 14, 1961 in Galion, Ohio the daughter of the late Leslie Dean and Gretchen Joyce (Carey) Cook. Judy was a 1980 graduate of Western Brown High School in Mt. Orab, Ohio. She began her working career as a teacher’s aide at Bethel-Tate Elementary School before joining the staff at Dualite in Williamsburg, Ohio, where she faithfully worked for nearly 40 years before retiring in 2023. Judy truly enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit many different cities and states, with San Francisco, California, holding a special place in her heart. When she was not traveling, Judy could often be found watching movies, sports or wrestling, listening to music, studying history, or simply enjoying time with her family and friends. For 50 years, Judy and her sister, Beth, shared a special tradition of never missing a Vandals concert. Her passion for professional wrestling was equally strong and in June 2026, she was honored with induction into the Xtreme Wrestling Room Hall of Fame. During football season, Judy could always be counted on to cheer enthusiastically for her beloved Cincinnati Bengals and The Ohio State University. She had a creative side as well and was talented in calligraphy, another reflection of the many interests and talents that made her unique. Judy loved deeply and never met a stranger. She had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went, including through social media. Her family was truly her whole world. Judy loved children and treated her nieces and nephews as though they were her own. She cherished family gatherings and was always sure to bring her famous cheeseball, which was a favorite among everyone who had the pleasure of enjoying it. Judy lived her life with an open heart and an appreciation for every moment. Her kindness, humor, generosity and genuine love for others touched the lives of so many. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Beside her parents, Judy was preceded in death by one brother-in-law – George Frazier.

Ms. Cook is survived by her husband of 40 years – Eddie Frazier; one brother – Marc Aaron Cook of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters – Beth Lahmer and husband Rich of Georgetown, Ohio and ClyDean Cook-Weber and husband David of West Chester, Ohio; seven nieces and nephews – Marc Cook and Crystal Mofford both of Sardinia, Ohio, Heather McElroy and husband Zach and Brooke Schwartz and husband Patrick both of Georgetown, Ohio, Kirsten Kernodle and husband Jacob and Lance Weber and wife Kelly both of Liberty Township, Ohio and Garrett Ford and wife Meredith of Amelia, Ohio; several great nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law – June Brookbank and husband Barry of Ripley, Ohio and Gail Boone and husband Dennis of Georgetown, Ohio; lifelong friend and traveling partner – Pam McCudden of Milford, Ohio and special friends – Carla Germann and husband George and Rick Waits and wife Jackie all of Georgetown, Ohio and Courtney Tekuelve and husband Mark of Lake Waynoka, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 16, 2026 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. David Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Chuck Gray, Jason Galley and Gary Lane for their visits with Judy and for the spiritual guidance, words of comfort and prayers they so graciously offered. Their kindness and support were a source of comfort to Judy and her family and are deeply appreciated.
