Julia Colwell

Julia Jane Colwell, age 68 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at her residence. She was retired from Mac Tool and a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ. Julia was born May 16, 1944 in Mt.Pisgah, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Eva (Hawkins) O'Neal. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters - Betty Brawner, Peggy Dewart and Mary Billingsley.

Mrs. Colwell is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years - Richard "Dick" Colwell, whom she married July 20, 1963; one son - Richard "Dick" Colwell and wife Karen of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren - Megan Colwell of Marietta, Georgia, Shawn and Kyle Damen and Cody and Katie Colwell all of Georgetown, Ohio; two brothers - Bill O'Neal and wife Lisa of Bethel, Ohio and Jim O'Neal and wife Diana of Batavia, Ohio; two sisters - Linda Pappas and husband Jim of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Barbie Woods of Florence, Kentucky and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Georgetown Church of Christ. Kevin Whitsett will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the church. Interment will be in the Norman Cemetery near Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
