Karen Reed

Karen Louise (Planck) Reed, age 60 of Hamersville, Ohio died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Anderson Township, Ohio. She was a Registered Nurse for thirty years and had most recently worked at Salem Woods Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Reed was born June 2, 1953 in Carlisle, Kentucky the daughter of the late Evan Eugene "Bill" and Anna Louise (Fraley) Planck, Sr.. She was also preceded in death by two brothers - Evan Eugene Planck, Jr. and Leonard Gordon Planck.

Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband - Ishmael William Reed; two daughters - Lori Anne Rose and husband Dale of Williamstown, Kentucky and Carrie Lynn Taylor and Sarah of Sardinia, Ohio; two grandchildren - Cecil Rose II and Dusti Rose; one sister - Lisa Kay Perry of Springfield, Ohio; two brothers - Darryl Lee Planck and wife Rita of Georgetown, Ohio and Steven Keith Planck of Ripley, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Jaime Wirth will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Shinkle's Ridge Cemetery near Georgetown, Ohio.
