Katherine A Kinder

Katherine A. Kinder, age 71 of Ripley, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ripley Church of Christ. Mrs. Kinder was born in Brown County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jonathan and Margaret (Bruce) Lightner. She was also preceded in death by two daughters - Gloria Jean Sexton and Glenna Kay Kinder and one sister, Carol Jean Lightner.

Mrs. Kinder is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years -Eugene Kinder; one daughter - Ramona Kinder of Ripley, Ohio; two sons - Greg and Mark Kinder, both of Ripley, Ohio; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters - Virginia Dunkin of Georgetown, Ohio; Mary Ann Cornelus of Ripley, Ohio and Regina Boone of Georgetown, Ohio; four brothers - Donald Lightner of Ripley; Harold Lightner of Georgetown, Ohio; Billy Lightner of Ripley, Ohio and Reggie Lightner of Middletown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 27, 2009 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Sunday, July 26 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt.
