Katheryn M. (Pope) Pitzer-Boggs

Katheryn M. Pitzer-Boggs, age 85 of Hamersville, Ohio died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Katheryn was born April 12, 1930 in Mt.Airy, North Carolina the daughter of the late Findley Edgar and Mary Alice (McGee) Pope. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands – Gerald Pitzer in 1984 and Clarence “Don” Boggs in 2015; two sons – Gary Pitzer and Richard Boggs, two brothers – James and Wayne Pope and two sisters – Evelyn Kirkpatrick and Carolyn Bolender.

Mrs. Pitzer-Boggs is survived by six children – Kathy Hanlon and husband Jim, D.J. Pitzer and wife Diana, Ronald Boggs, John Boggs, Teresa Schnuderl and husband Pete and Jennifer Boggs; one daughter-in-law – Julie Pitzer; twelve grandchildren – Vince (Brandy), Nicholas, Christie, Alison (Josh) Brian (Amy), Erin (Katie), Jordan (Veronica), Ashley, Tony, Krista (Eric), Andy and Carter; ten great grandchildren – Drew, Abby, Trey, Kendall, Boston, Payton, Wyatt, Eli, Aubriella and Londyn; one brother – Wade Pope and wife Marty and two sisters – JoAnn Pope and Marian Liming and husband Ronnie.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Ronnie Liming will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
