Kathryn Shafer

Mrs. Kathryn Shafer, age 77 of Amelia, Ohio, died Saturday, June 5, 2009 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Anderson Township. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Shafer was born on February 6, 1932 in Miami, Florida the daughter of the late Clifford Randall and Marvene (Mobley) Scott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Shafer and one son Ralph Edward Shafer, Jr..

Mrs. Shafer is survived by one son, Glen Shafer and his wife Candee of Batavia, Ohio; six grandchildren - Glen, Bill, Emilee, Joseph, Michael and Robert; one sister, Mary Margaret Donovan of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Cincinnati.
