Lanny Joe Warren

Lanny Joe Warren, age 64 of Ripley, Ohio and formerly of Batavia, Ohio died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio where he had resided since 2002. He worked for most of his career for the Standard Oil Company which later became BP. He later was a driver for the Croswell Bus Tours. Lanny lived in Ripley, Ohio since 1996 where he helped to operate the Misty River Bed and Breakfast on Front Street. He was born on June 29, 1943 in Harve de Grace, Maryland the son of the late Fred and Callie (Arnold) Warren.

Mr. Warren is survived by one daughter - Shelley Meyers of Dayton, Ohio ;one son - Jeffrey Warren of Marathon, Ohio; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister - Beverly Cole of Batavia, Ohio and one brother - Phillip Warren of Goshen, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. March 24, 2008 at the Ripley First Presbyterian Church, 114 Mulberry Street, Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Jim Rawlings will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Monday at the Church. The Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family.
