Larry McDow Coomer, age 65 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky. He owned Studio 54 disco club, Kings Crown, two closet organizer stores in Virginia and started the Water Bed Works. Larry was born November 6, 1952 in Norwood, Ohio the son of Bob McDow and Evelyn (Waddle) Coomer of Mt. Orab, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Coomer is survived by his wife – Pamela J. (Pete) Coomer; one son – David McDow Coomer of Richmond, Virginia; two brothers – James A. Coomer of Newton, Ohio and Robert E. Coomer and wife Tabby of Batavia, Ohio; one sister – Janice Gregory and husband Dairl of Fayetteville, Ohio; one aunt – Robert Waddle of Athens, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law – Susan Given of Lakeland, Florida and one aunt-in-law – Betty Knoll of Bradenton, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Joe Strunk will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
