Larry E. Swearingen

Larry Edward Swearingen, age 80 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was retired from Senco and was a United States Air Force veteran. Larry was born October 12, 1938 in Eagle Creek near Decatur, Ohio the son of the late Charles and Mary (Swearingen) Swearingen. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three children- Nikki Swearingen, Larry Swearingen, Jr. and an infant daughter, one brother – George Swearingen and four sisters – Delores Williams, Barbara Burris, Beverly Arnold and Dody Welch.

Mr. Swearingen is survived by his beloved companion of 22 years, Marilyn Bowen; two sons – Todd Swearingen and Tim Swearingen and wife Susan all of Georgetown, Ohio; four grandchildren – Alex Swearingen and wife Britany of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jason Swearingen of Georgetown, Ohio, Dylan Swearingen of Lebanon, Ohio and Rachel Hatfield and husband Kenny of Georgetown, Ohio and three great grandchildren – Syler, Audrina and Ashlynn.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Chuck Vonderhaar will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Ohio with veterans services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 in Georgetown, Ohio.
