Laura Bell Johnson

Mrs. Laura Bell Johnson, age 95 of Ripley, Ohio, died Friday, April 1, 2005 at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was retired from the U.S. Shoe Factory and was a lifetime member of The Ripley Church of Christ. She was born on October 3, 1909 in Levanna, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph and Jane (Allen) Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, in 1988, Dewey M. Johnson and four brothers, Louis, Edward, Russell and Carl (Skunk) Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son, Robert T. Johnson and wife Nancy D. of Leesburg, Florida; one grandson, R. Scott Johnson of Raleigh, North Carolina; one sister, Flora Jane Vaughn of Wilmington, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at The Ripley Church of Christ in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. Pall bearers will be Kevin Germann, Bud Manning, Tom Stamper, J.C. King, Mark Mussinan and Michael Mussinan.
