Lawrence Emerson Mosley

Lawrence Emerson Mosley, age 86 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Mosley was a retired foreman  for the US Shoe Corporation. He was born January 25, 1929 in Crothersville, Indiana the son of the late John Emerson and Freda (Chandler) Mosley. He was also preceded in death by one brother – Gordon Mosley.

Mr. Mosley is survived by his wife – Gladys (Breeding) Mosley; three sons – Charles Mosley and his wife Karen of Tuolumne, California, Donald Mosley and his wife Phyllis of Ripley, Ohio and Kelly Mosley of Ripley, Ohio; two daughters – Debra Mosley Roberts and husband Larry of Flatwoods, Kentucky and Jennifer Polley of Ripley, Ohio; three grandchildren – Beth Mosley of Tuolumne, California, Madyson Platt of Russell, Kentucky and Chandler Polley of Ripley, Ohio; one brother – Homer Mosley of Seymour, Indiana ; one sister – Clara Mae Weaver and husband Bill of Seymour, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Gary Brose will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
