Leona Francis Fowler

Mrs. Leona Moreland Fowler, age 87 of Higginsport, Ohio, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at The Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. She was retired from U.S. Shoe and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Maysville, KY.. Mrs. Fowler was born on June 22, 1920 in Mason Co., KY. the daughter of the late Edgar and Effie Liggett Moreland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Fowler, Sr. and her son Woody Fowler.

Mrs. Fowler is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jackie Fowler of Higginsport, Ohio; two grandsons - Chris Fowler of Higginsport, Ohio and Eric Fowler and wife Stephanie of Fayetteville, Ohio; three great grandchildren - Austin, Tanner and Addison and one sister - Blanche Moran of Statesville, N.C..

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. David Wirth will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday. Interment will be in Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, KY. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY. 41056.
