Leroy Clarkston Baker

LeRoy Clarkston Baker, age 93 of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Baker was a graduate of West Virginia University, an electrical engineer for TIMET. Titanium Metals in Toronto, Ohio and a United States Navy World War II veteran. He was born April 5, 1925 in Wheeling, West Virginia the son of the late Charles and Ethel (Shrader) Baker. He was also preceded in death by his wife – Freda Mae (Roberts) Baker whom he married July 7, 1946; one son – Jeffrey Baker and two siblings – Henry Baker and Florence DeVaul.
Mr. Baker is survived by one daughter – Carrie Montgomery of Liberty Township, Ohio and two grandchildren – Jessica Baker McKelvey and Nathaniel Montgomery.
There will be no services. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
