Lillian Ruth Laypool

Lillian Ruth Laypool, age 91 of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Maysville, Kentucky. She was retired from U.S. Shoe Corporation, after twenty-eight years of service. Mrs. Laypool was born October 3, 1923 in Mason County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Avery T. and Blanche (Tucker) Fryman. She was also preceded in death by her husband – Charles Junior Laypool; one daughter – Jewell Combess and one son – William Mitchell.
Mrs. Laypool is survived by one daughter – Janet Parker of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son – Arlie Mitchell, Jr. of Chatsworth, Georgia; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; five sisters – Elizabeth Ford of Connersville, Indiana, Oleda Mitchell, Martha Elliott, Betty Kielman and Vivian Robinson, all of Maysville, Kentucky; one brother – Ollie Fryman of Maysville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Gary Mitchell will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday. Interment will follow the funeral service in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
