Lillian L. Wright, age 96 of Ripley, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church near Aberdeen, Ohio. Ms. Wright was born August 5, 1913 in Aberdeen, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jessie L. and Mary D. (Perry) Flaugher. She was also preceded in death by one daughter - Caryl Jean Huskey; one sister - Carrie Grierson; and three brothers - Edward, Harold and Howard Flaugher.
Ms. Wright is survived by one son - William E. Shelton, Sr. and wife Georgjean of Aberdeen, Ohio; three grandchildren - Teresa L. Christopher of Darein, Connecticut, William E. Shelton, Jr. of West Chester, Ohio and John David Davy of Lakewood, California; two great-grandchildren - Brittany Rae Christopher and Alexander Thomas Christopher; two sisters - Mildred Lawwill of Dayton, Ohio and Jenny Ruth Flaugher of New Lebanon, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Ken Harmon will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday. Interment will be in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 9976 Ebenezer Road, Aberdeen, Ohio 45101.
