Lillie B. Moore

Lillie B. Moore, age 76 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008. She was retired from the former Crystal Tissue in Maysville, Kentucky and was a member of The Riverview Baptist Church in Aberdeen, Ohio. Lillie was born on August 15, 1931 in Mayslick, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Granville and Della (Hamilton) Purcell. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Charles Ray Moore; two sisters, Thelma Claypoole and Dorothy Gallenstein and three brothers - Calvin, Eugene and Larry Purcell.

Mrs. Moore is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law - Sharon and Wayne Hughes of Ripley, Ohio; Connie and Michael Vicars of Shelbyville, Kentucky and RaeJean and Dale Haitz of Ripley, Ohio; seven grandchildren - Laura Hughes of Mt. Orab, Ohio; Jeremy and Courtney Hughes of Ripley, Ohio; Becky and Dave Bentley of Burlington, Kentucky; Joshua Haitz of Ripley, Ohio; Jacob Vicars of Shelbyville, Kentucky and Chelsea and Carlee Haitz of Ripley, Ohio; one great granddaughter - Olivia Rae Hughes; one sister - Betty Hamm of Maysville, Kentucky; three brothers - James and Thomas Purcell, both of Maysville, Kentucky and Cecil Purcell of Lexington, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 10, 2008 at The Riverview Baptist Church in Aberdeen, Ohio. Rev. Don Owens will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 9 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in Hiett's Chapel Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
