Linda S. Newman

Linda Sue Newman, age 63 of Milford, Ohio passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Hospice of Cincinnati Inpatient Care Center in Blue Ash, Ohio. She was born March 1, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Volena (McDonald) Weathers of Cincinnati, Ohio and the late Charles Ellis. Linda was a devoted homemaker, filling her home with love while raising a wonderful family of boys. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was immersing herself in a good book or engaging in her favorite Sudoku puzzles. Above all, her greatest happiness came from being a grandmother and cherishing the moments spent with her grandchildren. Linda’s warmth and dedication to her family will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one sister – Debbie Ellis and one sister-in-law – Marla Ellis.

In addition to her mother – Volena Weathers and husband Chuck, Ms. Newman is survived by three sons – Zach Newman of McKinney, Texas, Jared Newman and wife Terea Whaley and Nick Blair both of Cincinnati, Ohio; one step-son- Matthew Newman and wife Pepper of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; three grandchildren – Gavin Newman, Brooklynn Newman and Devon Hurdle; two step-grandchildren – Colton and Elijah Newman; one brother – John Ellis of Lynchburg, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. James K. Strassner will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Sardinia Cemetery in Sardinia, Ohio.
