Linda Carol (Swearingen) Truitt

Linda Carol Truitt, 77 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was a homemaker and helped run the family business – Truitt Trucking.  Mrs. Truitt was born March 7, 1947 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Harold Lewis and Ruby Francis (Swearingen) Schmidt.  She was also preceded in death by her husband in 2014 – Dale E. Truitt.

Mrs. Truitt is survived by her son – Jeff Truitt of Ripley, Ohio; a sister – Vickie Sweet of Maysville, Kentucky; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 4, 2024 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.  John Neu will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
