Lisa Taul

Melissa (Lisa) Ann Thompson Taul, age 49 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at The Brown Co. General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a Medical Receptionist for New Richmond Family Healthsource, a member of The First Baptist Church in Ripley, Treasurer of The First Baptist Church Youth Group, a member of the Ripley Craft Club and a member of TOPS. She was born on August 17, 1959 in Georgetown, Ohio, the daughter of Donald R. and Diana M. (Pritchett) Thompson.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by two children - Bethany Leeann and Jarrin Lee Taul of Ripley, Ohio; two sisters - Robyn C. Thompson of Cincinnati, Ohio and Valerie (Robert) Durham of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers - Milton R. (Denise) Thompson of Wilmington, Ohio and Dean V. (Cindy) Thompson of Ripley, Ohio; maternal grandmother - Mary Pharris of Aberdeen, Ohio; ex-husband - Darrin Lee Taul of Lexington, Kentucky; a very special friend - Bob Oliver of Mt. Washington, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents - Russell and Lucille Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 20 at The First Baptist Church, 32 N. 3rd Street, Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Willie Howard will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday, October 19 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment will follow the funeral service in Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
