Lisa Gayle Vize

Lisa Gayle Vize, age 58 of Wilder, Kentucky and formerly of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at her home, after a long battle with breast cancer.  She attended and graduated from Manchester High School in 1979.  Lisa landed her lifetime job as a manager for T.J. Maxx Co. in 1988.  A veteran of 32 years, she loved her job as it was her family.  She thought of her many work associates as extended family.  Lisa was born August 21, 1961 in Maysville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Wallace Eugene and Betty Lou (Myers) Vize.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenny Roark, who passed away in 2015; maternal grandparents – Clara and Homer Johnson and Louis Myers; paternal grandparents – Golda and Faris Vize.

Lisa is survived by two sisters – Karen Stevenson-Scheadler (Jim) of Manchester, Ohio and Joyce Vize of Aberdeen, Ohio; one brother – Mike Vize (Dianne) of Aberdeen, Ohio; special nephew – Jerrod Stevenson, who resided with her; a niece – Devon Vize Carrington (Evan) and their son Cooper of Georgetown, Ohio; a nephew – Nicholas Vize (LaTasha) and their children – Paisley, Hadleigh and Ivy Vize and Aniah and Keyon Bloomfield.  She had many cousins and grand cousins of the Cobb family of Aberdeen, Ohio, who will deeply miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 22, also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio.
