Lois E. (Storie) Gunter

Lois Enola Gunter, age 97 of Mt.Orab, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Otterbein Senior Living in Lebanon, Ohio. She was born April 19, 1923 in Pickett County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Carlis and Ruby (Blevins) Storie. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her husband – Jayson Gunter in 1989 and one son – Gerald Gunter in 2009.

Mrs. Gunter is survived by two daughters – Donna Davis-Schneider and husband Michael of Mason, Ohio and Kimberly Lodwick and husband Butch of Mt.Orab, Ohio; one daughter-in-law – Carol Gunter of Williamsburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren – Jeffrey Gunter and wife Suzanne of Williamsburg, Ohio, Cindy Sanders and husband Jim of Oxford, Ohio, Douglas Gunter and wife Becky of Winchester, Ohio, Karen Foltyn and husband Bill of West Chester, Ohio, Renee Savage and husband Adam of Williamsburg, Ohio, Sarah Lodwick of Mt.Orab, Ohio and Jayson Lodwick and wife Erin of Sardinia, Ohio; “G.G” to ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and one sister – Georgie Wright of Tennessee.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Park in Blue Ash, Ohio.

During the visitation and funeral service, social distancing will be observed and facial coverings are required. If you are unable to attend, the family encourages you to leave a message or condolence.
