Lois M. Ross

Lois M. Ross, age 85 of Lexington, Kentucky formerly of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at her daughter's home in Cedarville, Ohio. She was a retired nurse for the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, a member of the Southern Acres Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky and an avid flower gardener. Lois was born July 12, 1929 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter and Marie (Beck) Kattine. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother - Tom Kattine and one grandson - Andrew Mahoney.

Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband of 50 years - Freeman Norris Ross; six children - Becky Liston and husband Bob of Cedarville, Ohio, Tim Roberts and wife Lucy of Morrow, Ohio, Sharon Trout and husband Joe of Lexington, Kentucky, Velvet Frye and husband Terry of Mt.Orab, Ohio, Carolyn Jones and husband Terry of Hamilton, Ohio and Cathy Clark and husband Mike of Germantown, Kentucky; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister - Mary Melissa Crabtree of Florida; one sister-in-law - JoAnn Kattine of Georgetown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Friday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery.
