Loretta Ann Boyd
March 21, 1939 — July 18, 2009
Loretta Ann Boyd, age 70 of Sardinia, Ohio and formerly of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her residence. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Maysville, Kentucky. Mrs. Boyd was born on March 21, 1939 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of the late Emerson and Mary (Delong) Seymour. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Boyd; two grandsons - Shawon Sowers and Shawon Metcalf; one granddaughter - Amber McCoy; one sister - Maxine Burger and two brothers - Frank Boyer and Bradley Seymour.
Mrs. Boyd is survived by four daughters - Diana Wilson of Sardinia, Ohio; Malena Caudill and husband Chris of Aberdeen, Ohio; Sharon Cavatorta and husband Joe of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Rhonda Morgan and husband Danny of Aberdeen, Ohio; four sons - Rick Sowers and wife Lisa of Carlisle, Kentucky; Stanley Metcalf of Portsmouth, Ohio, Dewayne Metcalf and wife Kristy of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Louis Page of Batavia, Ohio; twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters - Asenath Doss, Ronnie Seymour and Viola Doss.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 21 at Calvary Baptist Church in Maysville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 P.M. Monday, July 20 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio.
