Lovell Dwight Hardyman, age 90 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Hardyman was a retired dental technician for the Veterans Administration for twenty-eight years and a United States Air Force Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church, a former Worshipful Master in the Masons, a member of the Russellville Masonic Lodge #166 and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Winston Salem, North Carolina. He was born September 7, 1930 in Ripley, Ohio the son of the late Clarence and Alice (Applegate) Hardyman. He was also preceded in death by his wife of sixty-six years – Ramona Ruth (Roberts) Hardyman in 2020, whom he married June 5, 1954; six brothers- Marshall, Arthur, Noble, John, Robert and Norville Hardyman and four sisters – Dorothy Young, Laura Sheely, Della Jones and Velma Hardyman.

Mr. Hardyman is survived by one sister – Wilma C. Jimison of Mt. Orab, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home by the Russellville Masonic Lodge # 166. Interment will be in the Cherry Fork Cemetery in Cherry Fork, Ohio with military services by the Adams County Honor Guard. During the visitation and funeral service facial coverings are required and social distancing guidelines will be observed.
