Lucille M Smith

Lucille M. Smith, age 88 of Winchester, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and loved to raise a vegetable garden as well as flower gardens all around her house. When the weather permitted, you could find her out working in her yard and if the weather was bad you could find her in her sewing room making something for her loved ones. Lucille was born on July 8, 1920 in Bethel, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl (Harris) Hiler. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Glenn Samuel Day and Chester Smith; one daughter, Faye; four sisters; four brothers; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; two grandsons and one great-grandson.

Lucille is survived by two sons - Earl Barnes, Jr. and wife Vikki of Georgetown, Ohio and Kashie Paul Day and wife Missy of Russellville, Ohio; one daughter, Linda Rae Harvey and husband E.J. of Bethel, Ohio; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister-in-law; several step-children, their families and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday, April 10, 2009 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday. Interment will follow in Fincastle Cemetery.
