Margaret Jane Watson

Margaret Jane "Maggie" Watson, age 76 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Meadowwood Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Watson was a loving wife, mother and sister, homemaker, farmer and a member of the Fairview Church in Georgetown, Ohio. She was born February 27, 1932 in Wahlsburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late John Verner and Bertie Mae (Gould) Lang. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband - Ernest "Cap" Watson in 1998; one grandson - Timothy Randall McKenzie; two sisters - Roberta Lang and Ruth Carpenter and seven brothers - Homer Gould, William, Stanley, Charles, Clyde, Harold and Donald Lang.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her five children - Bonnie McKenzie of Ripley, Ohio; Carl "Dusty" Watson and wife, Lorena, of Seaman, Ohio; Timothy Lee Watson and wife, Kathy and Marilyn Vogel and husband, Mike, all of Georgetown, Ohio and Sharon Watson of Hamersville, Ohio; seventeen grandchildren - Josiah Watson, Jeff and Randy Edmisten, Brian, Jason, Jeremy, Amanda and Beth Ann McKenzie, Amy Shoemaker, Natalie and Adam Vogel, Rachel Newland, Sally, Carl, Tyrel and Brittany Watson and Dusty Cummins; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother - Carl Lang of Georgetown, Ohio; two sisters - Mae Weatherspoon and Virginia Watson, both of Georgetown, Ohio and two dear friends - Brenda Dunn and Sandi Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Bonnie Bohn, Chaplin for Crossroads Hospice will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
