Margarette Louise Thomas

Margarette Louise Thomas, age 77 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Meadowwood Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Thomas retired from Brown County General Hospital after twenty-two years of service as a nurse aide. She was a member of the Saltair Church of Christ, the Brown County Senior Citizens and the Grange. She was born on May 14, 1930 in Covington, Kentucky the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mabel (Beckelhymer) Sipple. Mrs. Thomas was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Francis Thomas and one son-in-law, Chandan Sanyal.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by one son - Dr. Terry Thomas and wife Kristi of Boudes Ferry, Ohio; two daughters - Diane Sanyal of Circleville, Ohio and Irene Burns and husband Robert of Ocala, Florida; seven grandchildren - Sarah and Neil Sanyal, Brandon, Kristopher and Bethany Thomas and Robbie and Lois Burns.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Saltair Church of Christ, 2124 SR 222, Bethel, Ohio. Rev. Bob Wickline will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Shinkles Ridge Cemetery near Higginsport, Ohio.
