Marjorie May Sparks

Marjorie May Sparks, age 80 of Ripley, Ohio, died Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Ms. Sparks was born on September 6, 1927 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Leslie Albert and Helen Defosse Poe. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and George Poe.

Ms. Sparks is survived by two sons - Rodney Sparks of West Union, Ohio and Tommy Sparks of Brandenburg, KY.; two grandchildren - Chasta Sutterfield of West Union, OH. and Morgan Sparks of Brandenburg, KY.; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 18, 2008 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Jim Schmitmeyer will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:45 A.M. at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.  Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
