Mark Garrett Evans

Mark Garrett Evans, age 54 of Ripley, Ohio, died Monday February, 9, 2009 at his residence. He owned and operated a painting business in Cincinnati, Ohio before working in the custodial and maintenance department of Mariemont High School in Cincinnati for 23 A½ years. Mark knew and loved the Lord and attended various churches in the Ripley area. He was born on June 6, 1954 in Cincinnat, Ohio, the son of Wendell I. Evans of Ripley and the late Leah Jane (Garrett) Evans.

In addition to his father, Mark is survived by one daughter, Heidi Ann Evans of Ripley. Ohio; one sister, Bonnie MacAleese and husband Bob of Fishers, Indiana; one nephew, Ken MacAleese of Reno, Nevada; his ex-wife and friend, Sherri Evans of Ripley, Ohio; three step children - Amy Frebis of Nicholasville, Kentucky; Troy Adams of Carlisle, Kentucky and Clay Adams of Aberdeen, Ohio. He is also survived my many dear friends in Brown County and Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February, 14, 2009 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Jaime Wirth and Rev. James Settles will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
