Mary Frances Charles

Mary Frances Charles, age 85 of Hamersville, Ohio died Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church, the Russellville Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, the Cincinnati Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 Auxiliary. Mrs. Charles was born on July 12, 1923 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (Waterfield) Flowers. She was also preceded in death by two husbands Ralph Mason Jennings in 1956 and Chester Charles in 1998.

Mrs. Charles is survived by four sons and one daughter - J.C. Jennings of Hamersville, Ohio, Shannon Jennings and wife Rose of Winchester, Ohio, Ralph Jennings and wife Linda of Hamersville, Ohio, Cameron Charles and wife Deanne of Watsetka, Illinois and April Charles and husband Jaye Payne of Georgetown, Ohio; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Private services will be held on Wednesday at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hamersville Life Squad c/o Dennis Schneider, 2636 Lucas Road, Hamersville, Ohio 45130. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
