Mary Ruth (Redmon) Gates

Mary Ruth Gates, age 88 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at her residence. She was retired from GTE. Mary was born February 15, 1927 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky the daughter of the late Jesse and Cindy (Cline) Redmon. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Raymond Gene Gates in 2003.
Mrs. Gates is survived by one son – Larry Guinn and wife Phyllis of Fayetteville, Ohio; one step-son – Phil Gates of Bethel, Ohio; one grandson – Michael Christopher Guinn; five step-grandchildren – Gene Adkins, Shawn Adkins, Tracy Gates, Stephanie Fridel and Jessica Gates and one sister – Frances Florence of Hillsboro, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. John Betz will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
