Mary Lee Germann

Mary Lee Germann, age 89 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Germann and her late husband Joseph L. Germann owned and operated the Germann Grocery on the Georgetown square for over fifty years and she was a member of St. George Catholic Church. She was born July 18, 1925 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Harry L. and Mary (Berlinger) Perkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband - Joseph L. Germann in 1985 and two brothers - Bobby and Paul Perkins.
Mrs. Germann is survived by three daughters - Linda Hartwell and husband John of Vernon, Indiana, Ann Nugent and husband John of Norfolk, Virginia and Virginia Shuttleworth and husband Keith of White House, Tennessee; two grandsons - Richard Leonard and wife Nicole of Norfolk, Virginia and William Leonard and wife Angie of Cary, North Carolina and three great grandchildren - Fiona, Ian and Hannah Leonard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, February 23, 2015 at the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to St. George Catholic Church, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
