Mary Evelyn King (nee Cooper), age 82 of Laguna Woods, California and formerly of Ripley, Ohio died September 30, 2018 in Laguna Woods, California after a five year battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was born July 7, 1936 in Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. King was an Air Force wife that lived in Mississippi, Hawaii, Germany, Florida, South Carolina and California.

Mrs. King is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years – Paul E.H. King; one son – Paul G. King and wife Bonnie of Stockton, California; one daughter – Laura E. King of Harvest, Alabama; one granddaughter –  Madison King of Stockton, California; one grandson - Kyler King of Stockton, California; one great grandson – Xander C. King of Stockton, California; two brothers – Jim Cooper of Ripley, Ohio and Roy Cooper and wife Nancy of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two nieces – Rev. Jayne Ruiz  and husband Alfredo of Belen, New Mexico and Donna Schroth of Aberdeen, Ohio and one great nephew – Cristian Ruiz of McAllen, Texas.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Jayne Ruiz will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Inurnment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
