Mary Mcafee

Mary Ethel McAfee, age 91 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. McAfee was a homemaker, a member of the Ripley Church of Christ, Women for Christ at the Ripley Church of Christ and a card chairman for the Ripley Church of Christ for nearly 20 years. She was born October 13, 1923 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Harry and Leona (Gray) Charles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Everett H. McAfee; infant son – Wayne McAfee and one sister – Edna Krump.

Mrs. McAfee is survived by ten children – Gloria Kristufek of Toledo, Ohio, Joyce Thomas of Georgetown, Ohio, Betty Utter and husband Steve of Georgetown, Ohio, Johnny McAfee and wife Debbie of Ripley, Ohio, Marilyn Glaze and husband James of Georgetown, Ohio, Sherry Brumett and husband Art of Amherst, Ohio, Melody McAfee of Georgetown, Ohio, Jerry McAfee of Ripley, Ohio, Gary McAfee and wife Renee of Ripley, Ohio and Jimmy McAfee and wife Jennifer of Augusta, Kentucky; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one brother – Ira Charles of Sardinia, Ohio and one sister – Ruby Seip of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Ripley Church of Christ in Ripley, Ohio.  Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
