Mary Katherine Mellen

Mary Katherine Mellen, age 95 of Quincy, Ohio formerly of the Lake Waynoka community in Brown County, Ohio died Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Sterling House in Urbana, Ohio. She was retired from retail sales, a member of the Arnheim Peace Lutheran Church in Georgetown, Ohio and the Lake Waynoka Squaws. Mrs. Mellen was born on March 31, 1913 in Van Wert, Ohio the daughter of the late Everett and Irene (Leiber) Kouts. She was also preceded in death her husband, James Gordon Mellen in 1989, one daughter, Bonnie Keiter in 2008 and four sisters- Naomi Place, Alice Schoenrock, Nellie Zuber and Eloise Craft.
