Mary Jean Reetz

Mary Jean Reetz, age 71 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Kentucky. She was a legal secretary and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. Reetz was born April 22, 1944 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Forest and  Louise (Brown) Goldsberry. She was also preceded in death by two brothers – Fred and Bill Goldsberry.

Mrs. Reetz is survived by her husband of forty-eight years – Bobby Reetz, whom she married November 22, 1967; three children – Mary Beth Reetz Ring of Georgetown, Ohio, Michael Reetz of Winchester, Kentucky and Susan Reetz of Ripley, Ohio; three grandchildren – Hannah and Emily Ring and Miranda Shawgo; one great grandchild – Alex Latham and two sisters – Suzanne Emmons of Ripley, Ohio and Marge Goldsberry of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
