Mary Anita Trapp

Mary Anita Trapp, age 77 of Ripley, Ohio died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. Trapp was born December 19, 1931 in Ripley, Ohio, the daughter of the late Oscar and Bessie Mae (Butts) Young. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Stanley Louis Trapp in 1993, one daughter - Cindy Edmisten in 2007 and one son - Tim Trapp in 2008.
Mrs. Trapp is survived by four daughters - Brenda Simpson and husband Jim of Russellville, Ohio; Cheryl Brooks of Aberdeen, Ohio; Veronica Ante of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Frances Jordan and husband Allen of Ripley, Ohio; one son - Tom Trapp and Vickie of Ripley, Ohio; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one brother - Charlie Young of Florida.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 2, 2009 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. James Schmitmeyer will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
