Mary Ellyn Wilson

Mary Ellyn Wilson (née Armour), born on March 17, 1964, entered into peaceful rest on August 3, 2026. Mary Ellyn was the youngest daughter of the late Charles Robert (Charlie Bob) Armour and Virginia Rose Armour Dunkin nee Lightner of Ripley Ohio.

Surviving her is her only child Daro Wayne Spangler and three grandchildren, Preston, Penelope and Alexis all who reside in Stanton, Kentucky. Siblings surviving Mary Ellyn are sister Karen Armour Burchwell and partner Jimmy Ferguson and brother George Robert “Bobby” Armour and wife Vivian. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as close friends.

Let us remember Mary Ellyn for her contagious laugh, joking personality and her love and compassion for animals. The family finds comfort in knowing that Mary Ellyn is now at peace, free from pain, and resting in the loving arms of the Lord.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 14, 2026 at Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Tim Butler will officiate.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.
