Mary Ann (Pitzer) Lucas

Mary Ann Lucas, age 81 of Bethel, Ohio, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio.  She worked in administration for Brown County Rural Water Association and was a member of the Carey-Bavis American Legion Post #180 Auxiliary in Georgetown, Ohio.  Mrs. Lucas was born January 16, 1934 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Leon and Paula Pitzer.  Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband – Carl Lucas; one son – Daniel Boone and two brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Lucas is survived by two daughters – Phyllis Peters of Felicity, Ohio and Kathy Boone of South Carolina; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and dear friends – Kathleen Newkirk of West Union, Ohio and Annette Pitzer of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
