Maudie Grace (Blank) Claypool

Maudie Grace Claypool, age 82 of Hamersville, Ohio died Monday, October 19, 2015 at her residence. She was a cashier for McKinney Mart in Hamersville, Ohio. Maudie was born February 22, 1933 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Clifford and Lucy (Shelton) Blank. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Charles Claypool in 1981, two grandchildren and one brother – Ralph Blank.

Mrs. Claypool is survived by three children – Lisa Holt and husband Matt of Batavia, Ohio, John Claypool and wife Ginger of Hamersville, Ohio and Dale Claypool of Hamersville, Ohio; seven grandchildren – Dawn, Malorie, Larame, Justin, Alyssa, Tim and Aaron; four great grandchildren; one sister – Frances Pitzer of Hamersville, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Lloyd Hopper will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
