Maxine Schumacher

Maxine Schumacher, age 78 of Ripley, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley. Mrs. Schumacher was born March 13, 1935 in Manchester, Ohio the daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Mary (High) Scott. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 2000 - John Thomas Schumacher and one granddaughter- Lori Wallace.
Mrs. Schumacher is survived by one son - Mark Schumacher and wife Cathy of Ripley, Ohio; one daughter - Julia Lainhart of Nicholasville, Kentucky and four grandchildren - Roxanne Bronner (Greg), Robin Perrin (Brian), Brian Lainhart and Amy Moore; five great grandchildren - Megan and Zachary Perrin, Brianna, Mackenzie and Seth Lainhart.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 1 at St. Michael Church in Ripley. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment will follow the funeral service in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
