Melissa Ann Griffith

Melissa Ann Griffith, age 42 of Ripley, Ohio, died Friday, April 29, 2016 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky.  She worked many years as a cook.  Melissa was born June 11, 1973 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of Sandy Sue (Poole) Griffith of Ripley, Ohio and the late Donald T. “Domby” Griffith.  She was also preceded in death by her grandmothers – Christine Griffith and Mary Dunaway; one aunt – Joyce Seip.

Melissa is survived by one daughter – Emily Griffith of Maysville, Kentucky and one son – Dustin Griffith; one sister – Christina Blank (Jeff) of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother – Wayne Griffith of Georgetown, Ohio; seven aunts – Kristi Mason of Georgetown, Ohio, Yvonne Howser of Cincinnati, Ohio, Patty Prather of Lexington, Kentucky, Debbie Hobner of Indiana, Jane Shelton of Georgetown, Ohio, Judy Burson of Ripley, Ohio and Glenda Ring of Ripley, Ohio; two uncles – Junior Poole of Higginsport, Ohio and Gary Griffith of Lexington, Kentucky.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
