Melody Lynn Murray

Melody Lynn Murray, age 54 of Fayetteville, Ohio died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Murray was an activities leader for SEM Haven Healthcare. She was born April 16, 1962 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of Mildred (Bloom) Gates of Milford, Ohio and the late Howard Gates. She was also preceded in death by two brothers – Ronald Lee and John Stroop.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her significant other – Dennis Spodeck; one daughter – Jamie Barber and husband Danny of Hillsboro, Ohio; one son – Patrick Murray and wife Jennifer of Fayetteville, Ohio; two sisters – Brenda Reck of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Leslie Younger of Owensville, Ohio; two brothers – Floyd Stroop of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Jerry Hammons of North Carolina and five grandchildren – Cami Murray and Brantley Murray of Fayetteville, Ohio, Ethan Barber, Logan Barber and Danny Barber, III all of Hillsboro, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Jerry Hammons will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery.
