Michael Scott “Beetle” Bailey, age 50 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, May 30, 2019 at his residence. He was a terminal manager for Ace Doran, a United States Gulf War Coast Guard veteran and a member of the Mt.Nebo United Methodist Church near Hamersville, Ohio and the Emmaus Community. Mike was an avid Marshall fan, loved hunting, fishing, camping, playing in the church softball league and most of all he loved his family. He was born December 03, 1968 in Union, West Virginia the son of Ronald and Sue Bailey of Lewisburg, West Virginia. Mike was preceded in death by one daughter – Kasey Ann Nicol Bailey in 2008; one brother – Roger Judy; father and mother-in-law - Verldon and Jessie Reynolds and one sister-in-law- Emma Bryant.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bailey is survived by loving wife of 30 years, Mary (Marion) Bailey whom he married May 6, 1989; three sons – Brandon Webb and wife Mel of Columbus, Ohio, Zachary Webb of Aurora, Colorado and Sean Bailey and wife Katie of Hamersville, Ohio; one daughter – Erin Edmisten and husband Joshua of Winchester, Ohio; eight grandchildren – Jayden, Jett, Cora and Jordan Edmisten, Cormac and Levon Webb, Noah Bailey and Baby Jennifer Bailey due in July; one brother – Michael Judy and wife Kathy of Organ Cave, West Virginia; one sister – Madonna Erskin and husband Randy of Cynthia, Kentucky; one brother-in-law – Bill Marion and wife Carman of Hamersville, Ohio; two sisters- in- law- Debra Huff of Fayetteville, Ohio and Ethel Marion and husband Bill Ramey of Bethel, Ohio; special niece – Teresa Adkins and husband Scott of Mt.Orab, Ohio; special friends – Ron and Karen Johnson of Georgetown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Mt.Nebo United Methodist Church, 11693 State Route 774, Bethel, Ohio 45106. Mike Starkey will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
