Mildred May (Metzger) Massner

Mildred May Massner, age 92 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her residence. She was a teacher for the Georgetown Exempted School District in Georgetown, Ohio and the Felicity Franklin School District in Felicity, Ohio. Millie was born August 13, 1923 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond and Hattie (Brown) Metzger. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carl Massner in 1980, two sons – David R. Massner in 2008 and Dennis “Duck” Massner in 2015 and one daughter-in-law – Barbara (Klein) Massner in 2014.

Mrs. Massner is survived by one grandson – Brandon Massner and wife Kristen of Batavia, Ohio; two step-grandchildren – Kimberly Hatfield and James Fithen and wife Melissa all of Georgetown, Ohio; three great grandchildren – Kylin, Zane and Reece Massner; five step-great- grandchildren – Ryan McKinzie, Tiffany Hatfield and Robert, Laura and Wesley Brookbank; two step-great-great grandchildren – Hunter and Payton McKinzie; one sister - Marjorie Malone of Georgetown, Ohio; one niece – Ferri Sue Wolford of Washington Court House, Ohio and one daughter-in-law – Michele Massner of Milford, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery.
