Nadine Irvin, age 80 of Hamersville, Ohio, died Friday, December 11, 2015 at her residence. She was retired from the Ford Motor Company and a member of the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church near Hamersville, Ohio. Mrs. Irvin was an avid gardener and was well known for her flower gardens. She made beautiful hand sewn quilts and especially enjoyed making baby quilts with her husband, Mitch. She showered great love on her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nadine was born August 13, 1935 in Sioux, North Carolina the daughter of the late Henry and Bertha (Sparkman) Eldridge. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers - James, Earl and Lon Eldridge.
Mrs. Irvin is survived by her husband of sixty years - Mitchell Irvin, whom she married May 7, 1955; two daughters - Debra Irvin of Hamersville, Ohio and Sandra Kidd and husband Timothy of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; six grandchildren - Troy Cross of Medina, Ohio, Brett Cross and wife Mandy of Hamersville, Ohio, Tyler Kidd and wife Kari of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Sarah Kidd Viatrov and husband Sasha of Bentonville, Arkansas, Kaitlyn Farrell and husband Jake of Anderson, Ohio and Thomas Kidd of Lexington, Kentucky; five great grandchildren - Brianna Kidd, Anna Cross, Kinley Kidd, Tucker Kidd and Juliana Farrell; four brothers and sisters - Vivian Greer of Lexington, Kentucky, Tyrone Eldridge and wife Brenda and Ann Loveless all of Waynesburg, Kentucky and Lanny Eldridge of Reading, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, 11693 State Route 774, Bethel, Ohio 45106. Mike Starkey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Interment will be in the Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg, Kentucky on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.
