Nancy Katherine (Schadle) Germann

Nancy Katherine Germann, age 77 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, June 22, 2018 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ripley Church of Christ. Mrs. Germann was born June 21, 1941 in Higginsport, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles Kenneth and Minnie Francis (Barlow) Schadle. She was also preceded in death by two brothers – Leon and Jerry Schadle, one sister – Linda Waterfield and one daughter-in-law – Angie Brandenburg.

Nancy is survived by her husband of forty-six years – Kevin C. Germann whom she married June 2, 1972; six children – Jerry Allen Brandenburg of Ripley, Ohio, Jenny Ellen O’Hearn and husband Richard of Georgetown, Ohio, Lu Ann McElfresh and husband Brent of Georgetown, Ohio, Ralph Douglas Brandenburg and wife Diane of Higginsport, Ohio, Thomas Fredrick Germann and wife Jennifer of Ripley, Ohio and Samantha Jo Pullam and husband Gary of Florence, Kentucky; sixteen grandchildren – Jessica Jones, Sarah, Amanda, Kenny and Doug Brandenburg, Kelty O’Hearn, Lonnie, Jonathon and Joshua McElfresh, Alisha Fetters, Cole Pullum and Katlyn, Courtney, Corey, Cody and Carson Germann; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers – Dennis Schadle of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dean Schadle of Chillicothe, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
