Nancy C. Thomas

Mrs. Nancy C. Thomas, age 73 of Georgetown, Ohio, died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at her residence. She worked in the family business,Thomas Welding and Fertilizer,as a secretary for many years and was a member of The Georgetown Church of Christ. She was also a graduate of Rhenna Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Mrs. Thomas was born on January 24, 1936 in Higginsport, Ohio, the daughter of Flora Mae (Stacy) Bruist of Georgetown, Ohio and the late Robert Bruist.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Fred Thomas; four children - Pamela Pfeffer and husband Brad, Mia Poff and husband Leroy, Vic Thomas and Keith Thomas, all of Georgetown, Ohio; eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, her mother - Flora Bruist; one brother - Bobby Bruist of Georgetown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at The Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Kevin Whitsett will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 2, 2009 at the church. Interment will be in Shinkle's Ridge Cemetery near Higginsport, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to The Georgetown Life Squad.
